Bunnings Rugby Assist - Applications now open


Bunnings Rugby Assist is BACK in 2022!

Applications are now open for grassroots clubs across the country who are eligible for Bunnings Rugby Assist to apply for the chance to receive a share of $300,000 worth of Bunnings products and materials.

With the growth of women’s rugby accelerating and the number of female players doubling in five years, Bunnings is calling on clubs who need help upgrading their facilities to be more inclusive to support the needs of their women’s squad, to apply for Bunnings Rugby Assist. Be it upgrading changing rooms or bathrooms, or extending the clubrooms, share your plans for your chance to win. Ten clubs will be selected to receive $30,000 worth of Bunnings products and materials and to cover labour costs. Bunnings Rugby Assist applications are open from June 29 and close on July 29, 2022.

Grassroots Rugby

Grassroots rugby is at the heart of every community in New Zealand. Whether it’s spending weeknights training or Saturday mornings cheering from the sidelines, Kiwis come together for the love of the game. We’re excited to see Bunnings support the game by improving the clubs that serve our communities. That’s where Bunnings Rugby Assist comes in. In partnership with New Zealand Rugby, Bunnings Warehouse has created Bunnings Rugby Assist to support community rugby clubs across the country.

In 2021, a third of all rugby clubs applied to Bunnings Rugby Assist and 20 community rugby clubs received a share of $300,000 worth of Bunnings products and materials to improve their facilities, along with hands on support from their local Bunnings team, to help bring their renovations to life. Rotoiti and Whakatane Marist where two clubs from the Bay of Plenty who successfully applied for the Bunnings Rugby Assist program.

 

In 2022, Bunnings Rugby Assist is back for a second year of support with another $300,000 worth of Bunnings products and materials to be allocated to clubs in need.
