The Senior Club Working Group is proud to announce the format for the 2024 Baywide Colts/U85 Kgs competition.  A hybrid competition, players can be either:

1. Under 21 on the 1st April 2024 OR
2. Weigh under 85 kgs on Friday 5.00pm before round 1 week 1.

Teams can be either:

1. Under 21 or
2. Under 85kgs or
3. A mixture of both

Seven (7) teams will contest the competition this year as follows:

1. Mount Maunganui Sports (2023 winners)
2. Te Puna
3. Greerton Marist
4. Te Puke Sports
5. Kahukura U85 kgs
6. Tauranga Sports
7. Papamoa

Kicking off on Saturday 7th April 2024, each team will play each other twice, in a 2 round 14 week home and away round robin competition.  There will be no play Easter, Kings Birthday or Matariki.

On Saturday 20th July 2024, the top 4 teams will contest the semi finals (1v4 & 2v3) with the 1st and 2nd hosting.

On Saturday 27th July 2024, the two semi finals winners will battle it out to be crowned the 2024 Champions.  The highest ranked semi finalist will host the final.
